Achievement Week Committee: Bro. Jason
Rucker, Chairman
The focus of this committee is to highlight the achievements
of members of Kappa Gamma Gamma as well as members
of the local, regional and national communities. The
activities traditionally include the Achievement Week
Banquet, and Chapter Worship Service. The Achievement
Week Celebration is one of the International Mandated
Programs of the Fraternity.

The focus of this committee is to locate and approve
the acquisition of a fraternity house.

Humanitarian Committee: Bro. Sam Dumas, Chairman
The focus of this Committee is to provide outreach
to active Brothers of Kappa Gamma Gamma Chapter.
The Committee provides support in the form of phone
calls, visits, cards, flowers and plants to Brothers
that experience illness. The Committee also provides
support to the families of Brothers in the instance
of their passing or the loss of a family member.

Lifting As We Climb: Bro. Jay Blankenship, Chairman
The focus of this program is to make early contact
and provide strategic intervention to African-American
boys ages 8-18.The Saturday morning program will
provide an avenue to showcase the positive
images of African
American youth in the community. The young men will
go through a rites of passage program called P.R.I.D.E.
which stands for: Purpose, Respect, Integrity, Determination
and Enthusiasm. The rites of passage stages help
to develop ideal characteristics into the young
men that
will enhance self esteem and promote productivity.
The young men learn to serve and contribute to the
public, build and retain self esteem and develop
self discipline and respect for self and others.

Scholarship Committee: Bro. Herman Boseman, Chairman
The focus of this Committee is:
1. Stimulate and cultivate scholarship on the part
of the youth of the community.
2. Provide appropriate recognition for youth engaged
in significant scholarship activities.
3. Provide financial assistance via annual scholarships
to deserving youth of exceptional ability, talent and
character.
4. Recognize significant scholarship efforts by Omega
brothers.
The Committee also works to develop funding sources
and financial arrangements that will enable the Committee
to perform its functions. This is an International
Mandated Program of the Fraternity.

Social Action Committee: Bro. Ken Brownlee, Chairman
The
focus of this Committee is to promote the "Uplift" cardinal
principle of the Fraternity. In doing so, the Committee
strives to aid and/or assist some of the various charitable
entities and individuals located in Anderson.

The focus of this Committee is to plan social activities
for the brothers of KGG and their families. The
goal is to build friendships through social
interaction
and to arrange events that have a purely social,
fun objective. The Committee has a goal of arranging
at least 1 social event per quarter.

The Beautillion Committee: Bro. Stanley Rich, Chairman
The Beautillion is an elegant black tie affair and
the Esquires will be presented to the City of Anderson
and Anderson County.
Mission
Our mission is to educate and encourage African American
male students from various disciplines on the vital
importance of earning a college degree, and to give
back to their communities. The program will develop
a network of emerging scholars of African descent who
are dedicated and sensitive to the needs and concerns
of an increasingly diverse community.

Talent Hunt Committee: Bro. Lawrence Green, Chairman
The focus of this Committee is organizing an annual
Talent Hunt for promising youth talent in the area.
This event highlights the performing arts skills
of local high school students. The winners of the
Talent Hunt move on to compete at the State of South
Carolina Talent Hunt and may potentially compete
at the District and International competitions. This
is an International Mandated Program of the Fraternity.

History Committee: Bro. Roy Mack, Chairman
The maintenance and update of the chapter history must
include all written, audio or visual information. The
committee is also charged with planning the chapter
annual anniversary to be held in September of each
year. The KRS will be the care taker of the information
collected. The history will also be maintained and
updated on the chapter web page.

Bridge Builder Committee: Bro. Bowen Wakefield, Chairman
The focus of this committee is intended to establish
communication that will foster an uplifting exchange
between the senior brothers and younger brothers
in the chapter that will enthuse and encourage the
brothers to commit themselves as Omega Men. .

Political Action Committee: Bro. Romando James, Chairman
We,
the men of Kappa Gamma Gamma Chapter of Omega Psi
Phi Fraternity Inc, pledge to implement political
participation projects by organizing communities
through voter registration
and political awareness, by communicating with
our elected officials to develop a call to action
plan
and maintain a vehicle for political information
for members of the brotherhood, the community and
other
organizations.

12th of each year has been established as Memorial Day.
Chapters are expected to conduct an appropriate
service to recall the memory of those members who
have entered into Omega Chapter.
